Tom Allen Review PDF Print E-mail
Written by Thomas Paul
Exuding charm and with an abundance of charisma, Tom Allen is our host for an hour of storytelling. His relaxed and inoffensive delivery is certainly a brilliant remedy to the abundance of abrasive comedians with regional accents, but unfortunately, he’s simply not very funny.

Sniggers and smirks are the order of the day and his tales are never short nor sharp, often carrying on longer than anyone would wish. When getting off script, it is even less funny. A squeeky chair seemed to throw him off course completely and there were no witty retorts one might expect of a stand-up.

If only his comedy were as sharp as his dressing.
