What would Jessica do? ask Emma Bettridge and Liz Hague in reference to Murder She Wrote hero Jessica Fletcher. For some reason, she has almost been inescapable in fringe shows this year, but thankfully this duo do not take her name in vain in this hour of fun and funnies. Drawing inspiration from film noir, Batman and, it seems, the R Kelly hip-hopera Trapped In The Closet, the show is cleverly written and performed with some genuinely hilarious moments. Weaker points come when the duo resort to their ruder material which seems to jar with the charming and witty set pieces in other parts of the play. There’s a five-star kids show in there somewhere so watch out for their next move - it's what Jessica would do.
