Cambridge Footlights: Wham-Bam Review PDF Print E-mail
Written by Imogen Thomas
The Footlights really hit the ground running with Wham-Bam. The show started with a tremendous energy, which did unfortunately lull towards the middle, but made a very good first impression. The effort was especially impressive for a first show, and bar a few slip-ups and uncertain scene changes the performance was overall, a success. With a diverse and varied range of unusual scenarios and characters, the content of the show is exciting and dynamic, complimented crisply by the impeccable timing of the players. This group works incredibly well as an ensemble and although all of the cast were excellent, a special mention must be given to Helen Cripps for her faultless performance. Wham-Bam is a credit to this comedy institution, and by far the best Footlights show for years.
