Beginning life as a Fringe hangout, Grv's star has been on the up and up since they opened their doors as a fulltime venue. The epitome in laid-back clubbing, not for nothing does this capital emporium attract top notch nights like Modern Lovers and Jackhammer, as well as an array of indie, house and techno nights.

An old-school clubber's hangout for many a year - and under several different guises - the Hive offers up a suitably eclectic mix of alternative nights with resident DJs, special guests and high octane sets.

This gig venue-cum-clubbers’ Mecca is a regular hotspot for some of the most sought-after club nights in the city. Guest DJs are commonplace, so too the raft of special events. A beer garden (where smokers happily congregate) out back even manages to give it a bit of a grungy-chic New York feel.

As new attractions go, Voodoo Rooms has managed to walk that fine line between pretention and sophistication, affluent and overdone.
