altFinally a comedy that makes you really laugh! This may sound like an overstatement but having been to more underwhelming comedy shows than I care to remember this Fringe, here is one that is worth its weight in gold! Witty, revolting and charming all at the same time, McNeil and Pamphilon deserve bums on seats and your recognition.

I honestly haven’t seen an audience enjoy themselves so thoroughly, or two comedians more in tune and in their element this festival. Already an award-winning double act, these two are establishing an impressive resume at record speed: tickets to their debut sketch show ‘Addicted to Danger!’ sold out and they are 2011 Hackney Empire New Act of the Year finalists. McNeil and Pamphilon are definitely an act to keep an eye on.

Moving at a well-measured pace that keeps things fresh and pithy, their sketches are crammed with clever lines and vivid characters. The ‘Mr. Snaffles Bit My Bobby’ sketch is unforgettable and the lyrics to their song ‘Which One Are You?’ had the audience in stitches and the lady behind me snorting with delight.  At points their material does slack, but this is forgiven as their momentum is so seldom lost. Go!
